We had such a good New Year's Eve this year! We were first planning on going down to Salt Lake to either spend it with our families or our friends, but the more we thought about it, the more we didn't want to drive down. We have driven down every weekend for the last 4 weekends, so we thought it would be nice to take a break.
We were planning a nice date night with each other, going out to a nice dinner, getting tons of movies and junk food and partying it up with just each other since we decided last minute we would be staying up here. But, while we were on a double-date on the night before New Year's Eve with our very good friends Dan & Stephanie, (Brett served a mission with Dan) they told us they didn't really have plans either because the party they were going to got canceled last minute. So, we decided to have a party with the 4 of us. It was a BLAST! We got a couple of delicious pizza's from Pier 49, got some soda and tons of junk food and rounded up some games. It was a way good time. I won in Parchese, we played Wii, watched Iron Man 2, watched the ball drop, pigged out and of course both couples had a midnight kiss. It was such a chill, fun night! We love those two so much, and we are so grateful to have them as friends and to have them live so close.
