Short term goals for this month and why:- Go to the gym at least 3 times a week for 40 minutes
Why? Because I have a need inside me to feel
healthy and get in better shape. Going to the gym and working out makes me feel
amazing and helps me not want to eat junk food.
- Read my scriptures and say my personal prayers daily.
Why? Because I need to be better at it. I am pretty good about saying my personal prayers but I have really
slacked on the personal scripture study. And I know it makes THE
BIGGEST difference in my day. I feel so much
better and
happier and my days are amazing.
Why? I am not saying I am a bad wife. I think I do a pretty fair job actually. But, there is
one area in where I am a massive slacker:
cooking and cleaning. I get home from work and the
last thing I want to do is clean and cook. I have started trying to clean
one room a day when I get home from work and try to cook with Brett. It's getting better but I want to get to a point where I am in the
habit of coming home and before I sit down to relax, I clean and cook dinner. It's
going to happen:)
- To be more outgoing and make more friends at church
Why? I am a
very outgoing person, but there is something about going to church when you are
married and you just want to
stick with your husband. I am not sure what it is. Maybe it's just
easy to do that? And
everyone else is doing it so why not right?!
NOT! I want to get out there and be friends with all the
amazing girls in my Ward. I have been getting better at this one as well, especially since we have made it a
goal to stay in Logan more weekends instead of going down to SLC so it's been easier now that I am starting to
remember everyone's names. I just want to get
better at it and make a new friend
every week.
