This summer has been a B-LAST! We have done so much...We had a baby (no big deal :), Brett did summer semester and he actually enjoyed it (WHAT?!), I quit my job and we had lots of picnics, lazy afternoons, snowcones, camping, hanging with friends, Harry Potter marathons and playing with our sweet baby boy! But, we needed one more thing to make the summer complete...time away from Logan. I am so sick of Logan I could honestly leave here forever and not miss it one little bit. I have been living here for 4 years now and I am so over it. Hopefully we will be moving once Brett gets an internship next semester (he is currently applying, cross your fingers). So, to suffice my craving for getting out of dodge, we decided to go to Salt Lake to be with our families for a week and then a week to St. George, to get away and take Dylan to the hottest place in the State in the middle of summer (yes we are smart. We didn't really think about the temperature at the moment, all that mattered was getting away on a cheap getaway). You will see the pics of our adventure below:
As you can see, it was SO MUCH FUN! We did Park City, Snowbird, Zion's National Park, St. George and Salt Lake. We were gone for over two weeks, and by the time it was time to come home we were ready. I think that's when you know that your vacation was long enough, when you miss being home. It was a perfect way to kiss summer goodbye before school started for Brett today.
Goodbye Summer, you were fabulous. Can't wait to see you again soon!
