We had our first "Prepared Childbirth Class" on Tuesday. Apparently, they only call it Lamaze if you are going natural. It started out really nice, and ended nicely too, with a little stretching exercise and relaxation time. But during the middle, it was awful. After this first class (it's a 1x a week class for 4 weeks), I don't know how anyone could go natural!!!! Oh my gosh, I remember watching Birthing videos in High School or whatever, but now actually having a baby in my tummy that is going to be coming out in less than two months, it puts that video in an ENTIRELY new perspective. Oh. My. GOSH! Watching a baby come out of a woman's yahoo was not the right way to get me excited for June 11th. Why do they have to show that? We all know why we are there, you don't have to show us the H we are going to be put through. I am pretty sure I was getting light headed and Brett was too distracted by me and laughing than actually watching the video. It made me more terrified than I already was. Luckily after that blasted movie, our teacher said that the woman was going natural and that was why she was screaming bloody murder. Wow,teacher, thank you for settling all my nerves with that piece of insight, NOT! It's still going to be super hard and crazy scary! Hopefully the last 3 classes settle my nerves a bit. If not, I might just force Brett to hit me as hard as he can with a frying pan to knock me out once Labor starts. We shall see.

Don't stress, it's not that terrible. Get an epidural and the most uncomfortable part you wont really feel.
Ha ha ha! Oh Katie, I love you. And I am SO for the frying pan idea...just make sure that they can wake you up as soon as the little one is out. :)
Ha ha, I agree with Brittany, too funny!! LOVE the blog as well, SO CUTE!! Love ya!
