Halloween Part 2...

So yesterday was Halloween and our besties Dan and Stephanie wanted to party it up, and of course we did too! So we planned an amazing party with GREAT food, costumes, wii Mariokart, homemade donuts, Arsenic and Old Lace and our favorites peeps :) Check out the pics:

Dorothy caught herself a flying Monkey :) (sidenote: Dylan was supposed to be the cowardly lion and Brett was supposed to be the Scarecrow, but we didn't order Brett's costume in time and we accidentally left Dylan's at his Grandma's house in Riverton, so his Monkey suit had to suffice, and luckily it went with my theme still)

Making the homemade Donuts. Steph had a super EASY and quick recipe and they were divine

This is indeed a real pumpkin. Stephanie found an amazing recipe for Pumpkin Stew on Pinterest (best site ever.) and oh my goodness was it DIVINE! She had to cook the stew for two hours alone then cook it inside the pumpkin for another 2 hours. She is basically amazing, and so was the stew. YUM!

Dan playing with Dylan while the game was paused.

Sad that Brett wasn't in any of the pictures (sorry sweetie), he was the one taking most of them. He was a Chilean Soccer Player. Dan was a Chilean Cowboy (get the theme that they both went to Chile on their missions, that is how they met) and Steph was a Lumberjack. It was such a great night, filled with yummy food and tons of laughs and a good movie to end the night. Thanks Dan and Steph for a fabulous evening! We heart you guys :)

Halloween Part 1...

We had such a fun Halloween weekend!! We went down to good ol' South Jordan for a fun Halloween Party my family had on Saturday night. We had super yummy food, dressed Dylan up in his adorable costume (thank you ebay) and carved Pumpkins. We had a contest on who thought who had the best pumpkin and guess who won? ME! I never win anything, especially pumpkin carving contests so it was a great surprise. And it was even more surprising considering I had no idea what I was going to carve until I started carving. Look at the pics below. There are lots, sorry about that. There was just so much to take pictures of :)

Dylan the Lion Cub! Is he not the cutest little Lion you have ever seen?! He wasn't a huge fan of being in his costume for more than 15 minutes, so we kept taking his lion mane off and on all night.

The award-winning polka-dot pumpkin :)

We loved the food, the activities and the company. So much fun. Thanks everyone for coming and for the fun! Looking forward to next year's already :)
