Make Sure You Breathe...

It's crazy how much time you don't have with a new baby! You would think I would have all day to sit around, play with the baby, clean the house, workout, watch tv etc. Ummmm No. So not the case. Dylan is one cute/happy/needy/very picky little handful. He is in constant need of attention, affection, cuddling and rocking (especially with his new phase of only sleeping when he is being held, and waking right up when we put him down) which I love, but honestly it almost leaves ZERO time for things that need to be done around the house, let alone time for me to work off the rest of the baby weight (which, luckily, isn't a lot at all, but I do want to lose a few pounds more and get down below my pre-pregnancy weight). And I am totally fine with that. But, in the spare time that I do get every once in a while, I have started doing this:

This workout video literally kicks my butt! It is nuts how hard it is to work my abs again! It feels amazing to tone and move and feel the burn, but MAN! It's intense! I love it though! I do it as much as I can throughout the day, which usually means I get 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, which is fine because by then I am usually out of breath and feeling completely out of shape anyways. But I am determined to stick to it, especially since I am noticing a little difference already. And to go along with this toning video I have also purchased this from my best friend, Amazon.com:

This little gem! I am so excited for it!!! My friends all RAVE about this workout at their gyms, and since I need to be home to be with my little Mr. Needy Pants, I thought I would bring the workout to me! It's great cardio, toning, burning and sculpting all in one! So excited to start! I love it to because I can take it with me wherever we go (aka our trip coming up to SLC and to St. George for 2 weeks) so I can keep the workouts going and not have to take a break, because that's when I get lazy. Hopefully I can get Dylan out of this little phase so I can lay him down long enough to finish an entire workout, but if not, every little bit helps right:) It's going to be here tomorrow and I couldn't be more impatient for it to get here so I can start.
