Belly Laughs...

So, I have been reading this book that we borrowed from one of our friends who is pregnant. Let me tell you, the name says it ALL! This book is seriously hilarious. I am loving it!

The book is obviously about pregnancy, but it's not your average pregnancy book. She tells how pregnancy life really is. All about the good, the bad and the ugly, everything from finding out your pregnant to sex during pregnancy (or the lack thereof in her case), to cravings and hormonal craziness and how your body changes and functions totally opposite of how it did before. It's great not only because I can relate to a lot of what Jenny is talking about, but because of the way she tells the stories and how blunt she is. She has such a great sense of humor! And most of it is from her personal experiences (I am sure she exaggerates some of them to make them funnier, but the funnier the better right:) which makes it even more entertaining. A couple more reasons that this book is amazing is 1. Brett and I can read it together because it's THAT entertaining, and 2. It's only 170 pages long, (personally I wish it was longer because it's that great) so I am already almost done with it. But this one is honestly one I would go back to again and again.

My point: Pregnant or not, this book is a must-read! Obviously it's more entertaining when you are pregnant because it is the story of your life (in some aspects, not all in my case) and it's just so hilarious! I am glad someone was bold enough to come out and say how pregnancy really is: that it's not just rainbows and blue skies, it's constipation and hormonal imbalances and no sleep (every case is different, but this book touches on almost everything you could experience during pregnancy, and it makes it lighthearted and seem bearable). If you need a good laugh, pick this one up! It's brought lot of true Laugh Out Loud moments for me:)
