My Grown-up Christmas List...

I officially feel old. I am married, pregnant, and work 40-hours a week running around trying to meet deadlines. Doesn't that sound old?? Ummmm yes! Well, I am still a kid at heart; and here are some reasons to prove my inner-child is still alive:

I still love DISNEYLAND and anything Disney (yes, I still scream like a 5-year old when seeing and meeting Disney Characters in Disneyland), anything that is small and fat (ex fat puppies), Toy Story, twinkle lights, reality tv, and the color pink. I try to sneak a peek at my gifts before I am allowed to open them, I love late night sleepovers with junk food, and playing dress up.

Oh, and one more thing, writing a Christmas list to Santa. But, as you will see, the things I am asking for are not-so-childlike. It's my Grown-up Christmas list (hence the title). No longer am I asking for easy-bake ovens (although I almost bought one the other day until Brett reminded me that we have a regular oven) and Polly Pockets. It's more like decorations for the house and baby stuff. Okay I am not THAT old yet, but I am sure I will get there soon. Until then, here is my list for Santa this year. Hope you read this Santa:)

Toy Story 3. Self Explanatory.

A few cute ruffly or flowery tops. Isn't this one adorable?? And wouldn't it go so cute with...

These? I REALLY REALLY want some cardigans. Yes, there is a grandma inside me as well. But seriously, you can take a plain t-shirt, stick a cute cardigan over it and throw on a necklace and flats and it's an adorable outfit. My new fetish. These are at the top of my list (not the ones shown, just any cute cardigan will do)

Jewlery. Necklaces mainly. I really want a few cute, both long and short necklaces. Some with big beads, others with flowers and pearls, and some plain. These are second on the list Santa. If I only got these and the cardigans I would be a happy girl.

My Snuggie!! Every time this infomercial comes on it reminds me of how I long for one. So nerdy but so PERFECT for me! I am ALWAYS freezing and so wearing a blanket all the time is the perfect solution. It would solve all mine and Brett's temperature wars with the thermostat! I salute the Snuggie-Makers. Genius.

There you have it. See, I am actually a pretty simple person to please. So, Santa, my fat little friend, I really have been a very good girl this year (I am giving up my body for another human being for crying out-loud, it doesn't get any nicer or kinder than that!) so I think that I deserve these things. It's not too much to ask and, if you like, just give me gift cards and I will shop for them myself. I would probably prefer that anyways but if you want to try and pick out what you think I'll wear go for it! I am prepared to be amazed:) Much love, Katie
